Senior Analyst

PwC Advisory Center of Excellence (CoE) team  provides services related to the international financial sector legislation, primarily for Financial Institutions  from Western Europe and the United States.

CoE’s objective is to provide robust client due diligence checks related to various Anti Money Laundering (AML)  procedures, such as Know Your Customer (KYC), Transaction Monitoring or FATCA.

Currently we are looking for experienced candidates who will be acting as the Senior Analysts  in PwC Advisory Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Warsaw.

Principal Accountabilities:
 
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on:
    • Clients’ Profiles in accordance with AML policies and internal KYC procedures
    • Suspicious transaction analysis in accordance with Transaction Monitoring policies and internal procedures
  • Document the results of quality assurance reviews and proposed remedial actions in the appropriate systems and tools
  • Create comprehensive reports on the results of reviews
  • Continuously provide guidance and improvement recommendations to team members following the review
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to performance of AML Analysts and share it with Team Leaders and Project Managers
  • Proactively identify and escalate areas of potential risk and/or quality improvement areas
  • Be up to date with anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing and FATCA regulations, policies, industry best practices and trends
  • Assist in the development of internal training program dedicated to AML (KYC, TM, Sanctions)  subjects for newly joined AML Analysts
 Knowledge & Experience:
 
  • Minimum 3 years of operational experience within a financial institution or other regulated business entity
  • Computer literate (Windows, MS Office)
  • Analytical thinking and ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships within the team and with the client
  • Able to multitask and finalize assignments in timely manner with highest standards of quality
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of other European language (German, Scandinavian, French) would be an advantage
