Job description:

This is a high profile global position, leading the team of Contracting & Procurement Operations Professionals to enable and deliver the most competitive and sustainable End to End Supply Chains for F&T – Information Technology. Successful candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and be the CP Ops representative for CP Information Technology, to integrate the CP Ops activity in the broader CP / Business plans aligning priorities and strategies and ensure simple and effective CP Operations, and highly effective and efficient RtP process day-in day-out, as well as through periods of organizational, system and process change.

Accountabilities:

 

  • Develop and drive the delivery of the Integrated Plans for Information Technology.

  • Build highly collaborative relationships, ensuring that CP strategies and processes are fully aligned with the business objectives and that CP bottom line contribution (Cost Improvements) are fully reflected in Business Plans.

  • Consistently drive operational excellence, business understanding and business value mindset.

  • Deliver functional excellence in the Sourcing and Execution of contracts and in the RtP Process.

  • Management of cycle times in accordance with business needs and ensuring CP Operations as organization and CP Operations managed processes are trusted and felt as easy to work with.

  • Ensure Supply Chain Strategy supports Goal Zero Aspiration through implementation of robust Contractor Safety Management practices and alignment to business personal and process safety Goal Zero focus areas.

  • Provide leadership for the Contract Portfolio managed by CP Ops, to ensure it is as competitive as possible, taking market developments and local content needs into account.

  • Demonstrate competitiveness through a variety of proof points, best in class metrics, ‘should cost’ models and external benchmarking.

  • Develop negotiation strategies and lead the more complex negotiations within the scope of the business/asset/category.

  • Ensure a strong connect across the E2E CP organization, the Global Centers of Excellence and the wider global CP organization, to ensure bi-directional sharing and leverage of best practices. Ensure this connection is effective at all levels in the organisation through effective and collaborative Supplier Relationship Management, Drive Continuous Improvement principles to create a performance culture.  

  • Foster customer mind-set and collaboration at pace with the business.

  • Enable people to succeed by removing barriers to performance, addressing underperformance and rewarding success.

  • Drive for external focus in the team, ensuring CP professionals spend as much time in the marketplace as possible.

  • Provide extensive Delivery Coaching to frontline staff.

  • Manage the staff, their Delivery Performance, appraisal, professional development and succession planning. 

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience in Category Management, Procurement Delivery/Operations.

  • An ability to build effective working relationships at senior levels in the business and across CP is essential.

  • Proven track record of developing and leading high performing

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and a strong track record of proven delivery

  • Need to have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as analytical skills to communicate to a wide group of stakeholders globally

  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

  • Be results oriented

  • Well organized and able to manage competing priorities

  • Analyze complex business processes

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
