• Strong mathematical and economic background (Master of Science in e.g. mathematics, quantitative methods, economy);
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel based tools (advanced VBA would be anadvantage) as well as MS Access, MS Power Point;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Be focused on effective problem solving processes (not limited to actuarial problems);
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Polish;
• Strong focus on quality of analysis and deliverables;
• At least one year of experience working for insurance (life and non-life)or other financial institutions.

The following will be an advantage:

• Passed actuarial exams or in the process of taking actuarial exams;
• Professional modelling experience with the use of e.g. Prophet, MoSes or other actuarial software;
• The use of non-life insurance reserving software (e.g. ResQ, Remetrica,CROS, Prophet GI);
• Data mining / predictive analytics knowledge and the use of dedicated software (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS, Stata).

• Actively contribute to a wide range of actuarial consulting projects (risk, modelling, reserving, etc.);
• Develop, implement and review actuarial models for pension, life and non-life insurance institutions;
• Review life and non-life insurance reserving methodologies and results, as well as Solvency II capital requirements calculation;
• Develop and review predictive models for various clients;
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams within Deloitte;
• Manage small teams of junior colleagues / actuarial trainees as part of a larger project, including performance management and improve their modelling skills through on-the-job coaching;
• Have extensive client contact, including dealing with queries, attending meetings with support and working on client sites;
• Have broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies toovercome them;
• Have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
