Enterprise Services Technical Manager

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Enterprise Services Technical Manager to  join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the management, oversight and coordination of facility related projects.  You will interact on a daily basis with outside vendors including architects, engineers, furniture representatives and working with the internal departments to plan a coordinated project plan.  The position requires acting as a resource for department’s special space needs.  Space needs include planning the efficient use of existing space while exercising cost control.  Additional responsibility includes management of the card access system, UPS system, generator emergency backup, HVAC and upkeep of all BBH leased space.

 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Interact with internal departments to plan and coordinate moves
  • Work with internal departments and furniture vendors to specify new or modify existing furniture
  • Maintain and operate BBH backup systems which include TREND, UPS and backup generator
  • Maintain relationship with BBH Systems group for critical infrastructure of Data Center
  • Coordinate all activities relating to Boston construction and renovation projects.
  • Develop, coordinate project plans with architects, engineers, consultants, space planners, vendors property managers, and local code enforcement officers.
  • Manage bidding process with vendors ensuring adherence with the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • Overall management of leased BBH space
  • Participate in construction meetings for space planning of new space which would include gathering information, space planning , design development and budgeting
  • Oversee Centerstone  IWMS implementation, updates and maintenance

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Self starter with strong written and verbal communication skills and a pleasant demeanor who can work independently in a professional environment
  • Ability to lead and own a project, define a plan of action, prioritize responsibilities and deliver timely, accurate and professional products under heavy workloads and competing priorities
  • Proven management experience and ability to build vendor relationships
  • Ability to foster a team effort within a department
