Building your own daily work as Manager

Arla Foods IT Service Desk is moving from Denmark to Gdansk and for this we are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Service Desk Manager, capable and willing to build a completely new Service Desk, supporting Arla Foods globally. Arla Foods focusses on a strong digital agenda and there will be a clear need to utilize options of A.I., robotics and other cognitive IT services available. This department will be a 24/7 SPOC for all IT related issues from 23.000 global users - supporting several languages, several lines of communication in a IT multisourced environment.

You will be part of building the new IT Service Desk from the start in regard to processes and hiring of new great employees for the Service Desk. Your responsibilities will be to set direction for the department as well as the responsibility of for the daily operational tasks.

Experienced Service Desk Manager with personal drive and charisma

You have leader experience regarding IT Service Desk activities and have created a wide personal toolbox, which includes:

  • Strong leadership experience
  • Deep understand of the strategic level for IT Service Desk responsibilities
  • A clear vision for the future of IT Service Desk responsibilities
  • Ability to do business planning

Additional, you are characterized as a robust decision maker.

  • A person who can make their voice heard, understood and respected by suppliers and co-workers.
  • You are motivated by enhancement and optimization of work processes and systems.
  • You know how to build professional relations to the business and suppliers.
