This role is responsible for driving the vision, learning plan, and execution for learning program(s) across State Street globally. This role works in partnership with the other State Street Learning functions including the Learning Consultants, Strategy & Planning Lead, Learning Operations & Administration Lead, and Learning Technology & Curation lead to deliver learning programs across functions and geographies.

 

Interacts with regional GHR Business Partners and GHR Country Heads bi-weekly to align on overall HR strategy.

 

Specific Duties:

  • Manage end-to-end design and delivery of all learning programs globally.
  • Co-ordinates with Learning Operations & Administration lead for design, development and delivery of learning content for global programs
  • Partner with Learning Consultants to align global program with local business requirements
  • Partner with Learning Technology & Curation Lead to get technology support for global program rollouts
  • Meets with Operations & Administration Lead and Learning Technology & Curation Lead monthly to align on program needs and curriculum.
  • Meets Learning Consultants weekly to inform needs and understand strategy.
  • Reports to the Chief Learning Officer on a regular basis, at least weekly.

 

The Learning organization has embarked on transformational change that will both impact those responsible for learning activities, as well as employees across the organization. As such, roles and responsibilities will need to be fluid to meet the demand as the org model is being redesigned.

 

Level of Education/ Specific Qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification and/or relevant Training/Learning & Development qualification
  • Fluent English speaker with other European languages being desirable
  • PC skills (Microsoft office suit

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong entrepreneurial skills such as; critical & creative thinking, leadership, risk taking, and communications
  • Experience building programs from inception
  • Experience working in a cutting edge/leading learning organization
  • Must be able to manage a diverse set of program simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams / locations
  • Solid experience in Learning and Development and a proven track record in facilitation/training delivery up to Middle Management Levels e.g. Vice President.
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills such as; critical & creative thinking, leadership, risk taking, and communications
  • Experience building programs from inception
  • Experience working in a cutting edge/leading learning organization
