Senior Infrastructure Solution Designer
Key activities
Purpose of Role:
The position is responsible for preparing cloud and on-premise Infrastructure Solutions for EIA Region (Europe, India, Russia). The individual will create design based on delivered expectations to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security requirements are met.
Principal responsibilities:
- Define and design IT infrastructure architecture for new or existing systems
- Create and translate business and application requirements into designs and solutions
- Define, develop and maintain design blueprints, best practices, deployment frameworks and standards
- Provide high-level consultancy to the business
- Ensure all agreed designs are “fit-for-purpose”
- Actively participate in the development of systems
- Suggest architecture improvements, Recommend process improvements
- Evaluate and identify new technologies and methodologies
- Work with our systems in a complex technology environment, providing CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate with other regional and global teams
- Project engagement
Key Qualifications required
- Master Degree of Computer Science, MIS, or other technology related field preferred
- 5+ years overall experience implementing systems in a complex, multi-tiered stack
- Experience with different variety of Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux)
- Experience with automation tools
- Familiar with scripting languages and code repositories
Working experience with AWS / Azure / On-Premise infrastructure
Nice to haves:
- Familiar with Infrastructure DevOps approach
- Understanding and experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies
- Monitoring skills and databases skills are an advantage
- Experience with storage (NFS), virtualization (VMware, Microsoft) and containerization (Docker, ECS) is an advantage

- Ability to lead projects independently
