Work location: Kraków

Job description:
Timely and accurate processing  take ownership and initiative until transaction is successfully and accurately processed
• Thoroughly check work prior to completion of posting to avoid unnecessary corrections
• Ensure that invoices are posted
• Run required accounts reconciliation and advise appropriate adjustments
• Understand and account for withholding tax and VAT
• Collate and input data with high level of accuracy and in accordance with Service Level Agreements
• Answer stakeholders requests for information in an helpful and friendly way
• Input information into systems, maintain and update account records
• Communicate with internal and external customer in an effective and efficient manner
• Act as an effective team player
• Maintain and implement agreed self-development plan
• Ensure that all relevant Shell and SSSC standards and guidelines are met;
• Compliance to internal audit rules and guidelines
• Carry out other assignments assigned by the supervisors

 Requirements:

  • Ideally 6 months or 1 year of experience in relevant accounting environment
  • Obtained economic, accounting or finance university degree/qualifications, or equivalent courses with experience
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Ms Outlook
  • Broad accounting knowledge
  • Good English (written and oral)
  • Basic knowledge of Russian (reading only on level A2/B1)
  • Good knowledge of accounting controls and principals
  • Desired knowledge of SAP knowledge
