Currently we are looking for a person for the position of:
Key activities
- Perform data profiling and data cleansing activities across the EIA region
- Set up data profiling in Informatica
- Collaborate with Global Headquarters for Informatica development
- Profile databases to find potential areas for data cleansing
- Coordinate automatic data cleansing activities
- Coordinate manual data cleansing activities
- Act as technical contact person for the business if data quality issues are detected
- Analyze databases to find root causes for data quality issues
- Create data maps showing data flows across systems
- Support to reconcile data between systems
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Support implementation of solutions to raise data quality
Key Qualifications required
- 2+ years of IT, data quality, and/or related experience
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design and development
- Knowledge of SQL
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and structure significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experienced at queries and presenting findings
- Experience of using Informatica for data profiling is of advantage
- Experience with reporting packages (Tableau etc.) is of advantage
- Fluency in the English language (written and verbal) is a MUST; any additional language is of advantage
- Working skills in a preferably multicultural environment
- Ability to both collaborate with IT and non-IT representatives
