Position purpose

Our team consists of talented group of professionals with many years of experience in network infrastructure. Our engineers are supporting various network infrastructures - but it is not only limited to managing existing infrastructures but also designing, evaluating and evolving environments. 
Currently we are looking for greatly motivated, able to deal with complicated projects professional to join network team to support design and implementation of new components and services. 
We are looking for an experienced professional able to work independently and within a team which is responsible end to end for deploying, supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructures.

Job description

Network Consultant will be involved in design, transformation and support of network infrastructure and related services. He will be providing technical support, will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving problems, developing and maintaining existing  network infrastructure as well as planning and implementing new solutions. Ensuring smooth operation of complex network environment in order to provide maximum performance and availability. Provide advanced application/network performance and network impact analysis. Together with network team members will be responsible for ensuring 24x7 operations and focusing on Service Level Agreement, creating high quality and timely working results. 

Working pattern: 24x5 (or Mon-Fri 8:00 - 18:00 CET)

Main accountabilities

• Participate in complex projects consisting of design, transformation and support network infrastructure and related services of our customers. 
• Perform assesment of the requirements and address customer needs 
• Respond and provide solutions to non standard requests/requirements
• Develop and maintain existing network infrastructures 
• Provide technical support, diagnostics and resolution of problems
• Prepare documentation before handing over infrastructure to operations according to agreed standards
• Ensure smooth operation of complex network environment in order to provide maximum performance and availability

Requirements

Essentials:

• Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Telecommunication or a related field)
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals
• 6+ years of IT experience in planning/designing, installation and management of various computer network architecture and telecommunication systems
• Solid experience with LAN (switching, routing, high availability)
• Advanced WAN configuration (BGP, traffic shaping and load balancing)
• Working experience with load balancers 
• Working experience with firewalls (preferably Check Point and Fortinet)
• Experience with Quality of Service (congestion management and avoidance, policing, shaping)
• Experience in designing and deploying security concepts, components and tools 
• Experience with managing Data Center infrastructures
• Knowledge about wireless concepts 
• Knowledge of Voice/VoIP/IP Telephony 
• Very good troubleshooting skills and problem solving abilities
• Knowledge about monitoring and troubleshooting tools 
• English (B2 level)
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

Desireables:

• Network certification on professional level in any of paths offered by Cisco (CCNP Routing and Switching or Security preferred) or equivalent certification from different vendor
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux and/or Wintel
• Experience with managing Data Center infrastructures
• Experience with Cloud-based deployments
• ITIL process awareness (ITIL Foundation is a plus)
• Understanding of Project Management concepts
• Create high quality working results
• Excellent time management
