Innovative and best practice architecture enabling our Data Transformation

The Senior Data Architect will be overall responsible for Master Data Solution Architecture, and enabling the organisations to Utilise this asset across the business. The ideal candidate will be innovative and process driven with accountability for delivering application and data services. The role will assume architectural responsibility for setting the standards around how we use both Master Data and other data. 

The main responsibilities include:

• Document the solution architecture and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
• Enable our team of data architects to maintain the standards and design optimal solutions maintaining our target architecture and increasing our data quality levels.
• Define and implement the MDM solution strategy
• Define and implement Data Governance processes.
• Define and implement the MDM solution architecture
• Define new standards and requirements to support MDM development and deployment globally.

In depth knowledge of Master Data, data management and SAP MDM

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in Master Data, SAP data management, data integration, and data quality solutions. Specifically, this individual will have significant experience with designing and implementing complex data processing pipelines, relevant development environments and tools.

• MDM industry experience preferably in Retail, Consumer goods or Manufacturing industry
• Deep understanding of master data management architecture and applications.
• Experience working with, multiple database technologies for relational, structured, unstructured and multi-structured data.
• Mastering data from multiple data sources including relational and customer-driven sources
• Data governance processes.
• Integration patterns using legacy and new data sources.
• Experience in Vendor, Financial, Customer and Product Master Data management with multiple technologies
• Experience with implementing MDM solutions from a technical and business process perspective.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in comprehensible business terminology.
• Experience and ability to socialize the benefits of MDM across various departments
• You communicate effortlessly in English
