Purpose of Role:

The GHR Business Control Team (BCT) member role is accountable for providing a holistic view of risk and controls in their business unit or function and for driving improvement in the system of internal controls.  This GHR BCT member role will be located in Krakow supporting Global Human Resources (GHR) in EMEA / APAC and will report directly into the BCT manager in Boston and into a GHR First Line of Defense Manager.

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor the effectiveness of the system of internal controls based on defined metrics aligned to the relevant risk appetite statements.
• Identify and timely communicate high risk observations to management.
• Provide strategic and tactical leadership of end-to-end issue management and sustainable remediation
• Oversee successful delivery of all business controls initiatives in accordance with relevant policies and framework(s).
• Strengthen the collaboration and coordination between the business or function, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Legal including oversight of the various risk programs including Risk & Control Self-Assessment, Material Risk Inventory and Compliance Oversight Program.
• Provide management with a holistic view of risks and controls to make informed decisions.

Skills and Experience:

• Governance and Risk and Controls background is required

• Working knowledge of Operational and Compliance based controls testing program
