Business Analyst (Contracting & Procurement team)

Job description:

Job PurposeThe CSD Business Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven analytical support to Operations Managers and Team Leads and identifying and delivering process improvement and compliance initiatives.

 


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Generating reports from the VMS (currently IQN) and CRM (currently SF) and performing analysis to identify problem and recommend solutions.

  • Driving/Leading improvement projects for Operations

  • Supporting Team Leads in workload monitoring and management

  • Designing and operating a Quality Assurance process for Contractor Service Desk Operations

  • Understanding legislations and other fiscal requirements on Contingent Workforce and defining activities that need to be taken to ensure compliance.

  • Ability to understand a process that encompasses multiple disciplines: HR, Recruitment, Purchasing, Customer Care, Key Account Management, Finance/Accounting

  • Ability to work with limited supervision displaying self-drive, “can-do” attitude and passion for success

  • Ability to be assertive in seeking information from various sources and drive improvement.

 

Requirements:

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
 

 

  • Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools.

  • Experience in MI/Reporting (proficiency with Access or other database software is an advantage).

  • Advanced Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Advanced Graphs)

  • Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.

  • Experience in system deployment/ process improvement / process design/ re-engineering activities

  • Good Presentation Skills - able to communicate concisely and clearly

  • Problem Solving: ability to identify problems and find appropriate solutions

  • Strong Collaboration and Influencing Skills: strong at working with others (in CSD and beyond) to understand issues/ implement improvements

  • Skilled in the use of Collaboration tools, e.g. Sharepoint, Functional Mailboxes

  • Strong and evident CI Mindset and a certification in either LEAN/Six Sigma/CI Certification (interest and ability to acquire CI Practicioner certification within 6 months)

  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision, proactive and possesses “can do” attitude

Considered an advantage:

  • Experience in SalesForce Cloud (or any other CRM software); IQN (or any other VMS)
