For our client, a famous fashion brand known for its outstanding jewellery, we are looking for Senior Record to Report Accountant with fluent German language, to work in a new Shared Service Center in Gdańsk.

Your new position

In this position, your main responsibilities would include the following:
- Perform general accounting and reporting including

• processing journal entries,
• posting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• and process allocations;

- Perform fixed-asset accounting by calculating and recording depreciation Manage treasury operations including

• cash management,
• processing and overseeing of electronic fund transfers (EFTs),
• maintenance of EBS rule
• and management of cash equivalents;

- Manage fixed-asset project accounting including

• capital project accounting,
• monitoring and tracking of capital projects and budget spending
• and recording of project-related transactions;

- Perform cost of sales analysis: producing and reconciling sales and cost of sales reports.

What we expect

A motivated candidate with the following background:

• Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures 
• Excellent communicator who can adapt to different audiences 
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases 
• Ability to process large amounts of data 
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations 
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Fluency English and German in speaking and writing – C1 level 
• “Getting things done” and service orientated attitude combined with the ability to communicate and explain procedures and solution proposals to partners 
• Excellent cooperation skills 
• At least 2 years of experience in the RtR/GL 
• Continuous improvement mindset and process orientation and a solution orientated work approach
