We are currently looking for:

HR International Benefits Specialist
HR International Benefits Specialist
Location: Kraków, małopolskie

As an HR International Benefits Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the international benefits programs, including retirement, health, and welfare plans. You will take care of day-to-day administration of benefit programs in 9 countries across Europe and Asia as well as Grand Cayman, including RFP’s, vendor management, implementation, and operational support while also interfacing with employees and managers at all levels of the organization to provide local collaboration and effective problem resolution as part of the global team.  You will be also expected to support governance and operational efficiencies across our international programs and systems. This is a challenging role where you will use your strong relationship management, analytical and project management skills to support critical business decisions that impact company initiatives and employee engagement and retention.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

Benefits Administration

  • Administer benefit plans and associated provider relationships while overseeing the annual benefit renewal cycle. This includes managing the implementation of new plan designs, vendor implementations and ensuring that all vendors meet BBH’s customer service standards and adhere to agreed upon SLA's.
  • Support governance adherence based on Global Benefits governance structure
  • Securely manage eligibility data in a timely manner to ensure accurate eligibility, coverage and costs.
  • Coordinate the audit of benefit programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and escalate potential shortfalls, if necessary.
  • Support Workday benefits integration and HR transformation projects.
  • Assist with invoice management as needed
     

Strategy & Analysis

  • Based on the strategy driven by Global Benefits, carry out targeted initiatives throughout Europe and Asia by identifying gaps, benchmarking local market practices and implementing innovative, market aligned solutions that fit with our global values.
  • Compile feedback from employees and business leaders, regarding the quality of benefit offerings and the efficiency of administrative procedures.
  • Assist in implementation of benefits strategy
  • Assist in the preparation of RFPs
  • Assist with the management of benefits projects.
  • Monitor/analyze the monthly costs and utilization of all benefit plans, partners to ensure thorough analysis and budgeting. Identifies risks and opportunities to drive effective business planning for both short and long-term needs
  • Partner with benefits consultants internationally to conduct targeted market surveys, as needed.

 

Employee Engagement

  • Handle escalated employee concerns and claims issues
  • Provide support to HRBPs, HRdirect and business leaders on benefit related requests
  • Assist in developing employee training and communications about benefit programs, procedures, changes and government mandated disclosures
  • Maintain benefits updates on the employee communications portal

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in health and retirement benefits administration or related disciplines
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Proven track record in understanding international health care, wellness, life, disability and retirement plan markets including administration, design, implementation, and maintenance and governance adherence
  • Ability to manage multiple, high priority objectives, while meeting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion and professionalism
  • Commercial acumen, understanding our competitor offerings, general market place, local legislations and employee feedback with the ability to use data to influence key stakeholder
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills
  • Some knowledge of best practices in the benefits industry
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suits
  • Experience with Workday
  • Prior consulting experience is a plus
  • Willing to travel internationall
