For our Client, SSC in Cracow, we are looking for experienced Candidate, who will play an essential role in developing a strategy for Accounting and reporting department and will meet long-term goals. You will drive effective and stimulating cooperation across various teams, processes, systems, and functions.
- manage the day to day operation and performance of the F&A functions (GL, financial reporting, and taxes),
- act as a trusted business partner to Group Senior Directors, Finance Directors (EMEA, APAC US), Managing Director and Senior Stakeholders,
- create long-term Shared Service Center Strategy - close cooperation with Managing Director,
- actively manage direct reports and other staff by establishing timely and challenging performance standards, providing ongoing feedback (4 direct reports, 50 indirect employees)
- maintain high standards of service and deliver ongoing continuous improvement,
- forming internal policies, procedures, governance, and ways of working for the center,
- responsible for ensuring the correctness and integrity of the global process.
- 13+ years of finance and accounting experience,
- minimum of 5 years prior experience in leading 30+ team,
- strong background and knowledge of general ledger, financial reporting, and taxes,
- previous managerial role in audit considered an asset,
- professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/MBA/PMI) will be a plus,
- strong communications skills and problem-solving competencies,
- very good interpersonal skills including the ability to build a relationship,
- strong "one team" approach and ability to communicate openly and sincerely
- good understanding of the organizational culture and its impact on the employee engagement,
- proven ability to motivate staff to perform and deliver high levels of client service.
