Job Description
- Oversee and streamline billing and collection processes,
- Field Operators' problem escalation and dealing with customer service issues re payments,
- Analyzing billing for accuracy,
- Month-end closing of the billing group information,
- Contributing to cashflow management,
- Planning and implement quality assurance for all processes,
- Actively manage bed debts and maintain a system of controls over receivables transactions,
- Ensuring that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner,
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system,
- Contribute to cashflow management,
- Maintain a system of controls over payables transactions,
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate monthly/annual reports,
- Calculate financial and operating metrics,
- Reconcile billing and bank accounts,
- Management of intangibles assets from a finance perspective - tracking spend vs. budget on both
expense and cash basis.
The Successful Applicant
- 3-5 years' related work experience, preferably in internet or tech start up sectors, with a strong accounting background,
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred,
- Proven track record in billing department and with various payment methods,
- Preferably proven track record in intangible assets financial management,
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
- Experience in global, multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environments,
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills,
- Fluent English,
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Access will be an asset,
- Commitment to culture of collaboration, performance, transparency and integrity,
- Ability to balance business needs with fiduciary responsibilities.
