Job Description
- Set up, manage and control month-end close ensuring compliance with agreed closing schedule;
- Coordinate of preparation statutory financial statements according to Polish GAAP;
- Participation in preparing consolidated reports;
- Preparation of tax declarations according Polish regulations (CIT, VAT, transfer pricing) and liaise with Group Tax;
- Fixed assets monitoring;
- Support Management reporting;
- Support forecasting and budgeting;
- Support cashflow management;
- Cooperate with Auditors on Year End Closure and Internal Audit;
- Manage/develop a department of accountants;
- Drive quality and continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience as Chief Accountant or Deputy Chief Accountant in a manufacturing company;
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of polish tax regulations (CIT, VAT);
- Ability to adapt to operate in dynamic environment;
- Developed time and change management skills;
- Analytical thinking and ability to draw conclusions;
- Team management experience;
- excellent excel;
- Excellent written and spoken English. Other languages welcome;
- Change management skills.
