Job Description
- Organize the department depending on workloads
- Be the key point of contact for one group of countries for accounts payable processes
- Ensure back-up for accounts payable manager and other deputies manager in order to guarantee service continuity
- Ensure continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and work closely with project management team
- Be responsible for KPIs linked to accounts payable processes for the group of local entities
- Supervise accounts payable tasks for non-stocked purchases and stocked purchases
- Organize team workload on a daily basis and help on operational tasks
- Be accountable for accounts payable KPIs and performance dashboards for the group of cooperating countries
- Prepare and participate to steering committees for the group of cooperating countries
- Ensure continuous improvement and implement group guidelines
- Prepare payment proposal by entity according to payment calendar
- Review all invoices in payment proposal: date of invoice, supplier, VAT, etc
- Validate reconciliation between ap sub ledger and trial balance
- Prepare GR/IR clearing: matching, clearing, accruals, etc. and challenge justifications
- Review accounts justification done by the team
- Manage overall AP closing: stocked commitments, AP in foreign currency
- Be in charge of blocked/ parked invoices process management
- Take care of accounting internal control procedures
The Successful Applicant
- Have a good knowledge of accounting rules, standards and regulations
- Have a good knowledge of accounting processes and internal control principles
- Experience in SSC structures in AP is required
- Experience as an AP Team Leader is required
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of English - required
- Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
