Job Description
- Develop overall vision, strategy and objectives to build up entirely new Indirect Sourcing Hub based in Warsaw
- Translate business strategies, challenges and opportunities into Sourcing opportunities (business acumen, innovation)
- Identify relationships with internal stakeholders to increase measurable engagement and deliver a robust procurement initiatives pipeline
- Engage strategic regional suppliers in relationships that will bring value creation and innovation within region
- Lead implementation of category procurement strategies for assigned indirect procurement categories
- Oversee contracts in close collaboration with Category managers to fulfill the needs of the business
- Set high standards for the organization for ethics, professionalism and driving compliance
The Successful Applicant
- MSc, MBA or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in indirect procurement in an international company
- Demonstrated skills with high value purchasing and contract negotiations across a diverse range of commodities and services
- In-depth knowledge of variety of procurement implementation approaches (e.g. RFX, e-auction)
- Procurement accreditation's (e.g. CPM/APICS) desirable
- Extensive people management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise procurement systems
- Excellent communicator with different management layers in different functions
- Thinker and Do'er: understand the big picture & integration points
- Fluency in English
