Job Description
- Control of the month-end close ensuring compliance with agreed closing schedule;
- Coordinate of preparation statutory financial statements according to Polish GAAP and IFRS;
- Prepare consolidated reports;
- Coordinate preparation of tax declarations according Polish regulations (CIT, VAT, transfer pricing) and liaise with Group Tax;
- Management reporting;
- Cooperate with Auditors on Year End Closure and Internal Audit;
- Manage/develop a department of accountants;
- Drive quality and continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility;
- Prepare and co-ordinate forecasts and budgets;
- Supervise cashflow management.
The Successful Applicant
- University degree in Finance/Economy/Accounting area;
- 6 + years of progressive finance experience including at least 2 years on a managerial position;
- International experience required;
- Ability to provide clear leadership and motivate people;
- Understands key business drivers and proactively seeks out opportunities and recommends solutions that can be effectively supported;
- People management skills;
- Excellent excel;
- Excellent written/spoken English. Other language will be an advantage;
- Change management skills;
- Highly developed communication skills.
