Job Description
- Responsible for IFRS specific accounting areas in the region (e.g. inventory, intercompany, treasury, GL, legal, legacy, fixed assets and pension accounting)
- Translates IFRS/webFEM policy to administration and Local GAAP
- Advise on complex matters or questions related to the IFRS subject
- Provide Tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing activities in the region Treasury Activities (hedging foreign currency, reconciliations, fair value, payment reviews)
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, charts, tables and other exhibits as needed
The Successful Applicant
- Accounting professional with 3+ years of experiences in accounting with specific deep expertise in GL/RTR
- Master degree in Finance and Accounting (or other educational background)
- Preferably having working experience in one or multiple business units
- Ability to work and delegate work under severe time pressure during month-end closures
- Good knowledge of accounting in ERP system SAP and consolidation systems preferably HFM
- Good English is required
- Fluency at least in one following languages: Slovak or Czech
