Opis stanowiska:
- manage a team of 10 Accountants responsible for running full books and records of 5 legal entities in Germany and Austria,
- assure compliance of company’s books and records with all accounting regulations, both under US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB),
- review and apply all corporate accounting policies,
- act as Mentor and Subject Matter Expert for the rest of the Accounting Team, as well as members of other teams within the business,
- coordinate preparation of statutory financial statements (German GAAP) as well as reporting to regulatory bodies and other institutions in Germany,
- coordinate annual financial audits by one of the BIG4 companies,
- close cooperation with Country CFO, Country Controller, FP&A Team and EMEA Accounting Controller,
- the individual will be responsible for reviewing balance sheet, account analysis, reporting of risk and opportunities,
- report US GAAP accounts to the regional and corporate teams,
- identify and resolve issues and initiate, investigate, and identify process improvements.
Wymagania:
- degree in Accounting/Finance,
- qualified accountant with 5 years+ experience in similar roles (Chief Accountant / Accounting Manager / Finance Manager),
- fluent English + Communicative German,
- IFRS/US GAAP experience,
- internal drive to become a business partner to various teams across German entities,
- attitude to interact with various levels, including Senior Management also outside of Finance & Accounting,
- ability to identify and drive process improvements across entire accounting function,
- be able to multitask effectively, think out of the box and understand the details but present the big picture and always be willing to learn new skills.
