Job Description
- Accountable for Master Data operational support and maintenance across the Global Landscape (FICO) including but not limited to GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Mapping Logic/tables,
- Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for all in-scope ERP Applications (FICO),
- Accountable for understanding the Master Data Structure for Non-ERP Global Applications (Concur, Ariba, PeopleSoft, ADP) and how these Global Applications impact the SAP ERP environments,
- Accountable for the understanding the Global Cost Center and Global GL Account maintenance process,
- Validate and complete all maintenance requests and mapping associated based on ERP set up,
- Responsible to adhering to applicable policy, procedures, standards and internal controls,
- Escalate issues further as needed to Manager, Finance Systems CoE Data Governance,
- Recommend process improvements for master data maintenance processes with Global focus,
- Participate in and actively support ERP integrations including acquisition of new businesses and divestitures; support for Finance master data maintenance activities and requirements,
- Data Cleansing, Analysis project support,
- Support implementation of Process Improvement initiatives for key Data/Risk areas,
- Understand Governance model and ownership of master data for in-scope instances,
- Support metric compilation, reporting and root cause analysis,
- Build and Maintain guidelines, playbook documents and other common sites that provide information to our customers,
- Ensure compliance with control objectives,
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor to support team goals.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors in Accounting/Business with 5+ years of professional experience,
- Knowledge of SAP is a must,
- Experience in master data,
- Ability to learn Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Non ERP systems,
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes,
- Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and highly organized,
- Excellent problem identification, prioritization and remediation skills,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel,
- Strong analytical skills including data mining, analysis, trending and writing accompanying commentary,
- Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices.
