Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience. Previous professional services or consulting experience within a reputable management consulting firm is preferred
• Undergraduate degree in environmental or related science, or environmental economics
• Complementary graduate degree (MSc, MA) with a focus on environment or sustainability is an asset
• Sound understanding of and interest in sustainability issues across various industry sectors
• Skills and capabilities related to strategy, proposal writing, qualitative and quantitative analysis, report writing, delivering presentations and project management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver commitments on time and budget
• Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality work products
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Bright, resilient, detail-oriented, critical and strategic thinker and able to solve complex problems
• Knowledge of relevant European regulations in the field of circular economy, waste management and climate change is an asset
• The candidate should be able to present a portfolio of projects related to environmental modeling (the Candidate will be asked to describe selected cases of projects in which he/she participated and clearly demonstrate their analytical input in the project)

• Efficiently engaging with client on sustainability issues & opportunities (including emissions, renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management etc.), assessing solutions and their business case
• Conduct analysis, research and benchmarking for environment-related problems (e.g. resource efficiency, demand-supply analysis, market forecasts, circular economy solutions)
• Measuring company's impact on the environment, economy and society
• Identifying and measuring the impact of regulatory changes
• Monitoring environmental protection regulations and preparing solutions for our clients
• Defining and implementing strategies & new business models that address today’s business needs and future growth (including recognizing opportunities for growth & cost reductions through a sustainability lens)
