Job Description
- Prepare and book journal entries for GL
- Assist in processing monthly expense variance analysis, quarterly balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis
- Assist in performance of tax activities, VAT statements and intrastate reporting
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (GL accounts incl. inventory and cash management) on monthly and quarterly basis
- Assist in month/quarter and year end closing report and thereby have the possibility to develop your knowledge on different accounting standards
- Manage and update internal processes and manuals (e.g. internal control system)
- Maintenance of relevant documents for internal and external audit
- Support Legal Entities on ad-hoc tasks
- Perform other tasks related to the GL process
The Successful Applicant
- Accounting professional with 1+ years of experiences in accounting in GL
- Master degree in Finance and Accounting (or other educational background)
- Preferably having working experience in one or multiple business units
- Ability to work and delegate work under severe time pressure during month-end closures
- Good knowledge of accounting in ERP system SAP and consolidation systems preferably HFM
- Good English is required
- Fluency in Turkish language
