Because of growth we are looking for candidate for Head of Accounting & Reporting / Finance Manager role based in Warsaw. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in a similar position, with Real Estate experience a preferred option. Candidates must have a hands-on approach but also require management experience and show a willingness to act independently with a pro-active attitude. Project management skills are also desirable.

Job Description
Overall scope:
- Act as the Financial Manager of the Poland business for the CFO of the Group
- Provide real time support on financial matters to the Partners in the Poland business
- Actively manage the Poland accounting and controlling team of approx. 25 individuals,
- Actively manage the accounting operations
- Actively monitor and evaluate the overall performance of the business
- Ensure the quality of financial information provided to local and regional management within prescribed deadlines
- Maintain accounting systems
- Manage the banking systems and daily reporting
- Manage the provision of, and prepare where necessary, reports to the regional team, for inclusion in monthly / quarterly reporting to investment partners,
- Prepare and develop budgets, variances analysis, forecasting
- Responsible for cash flow management and cash flow analysis
- Manage the provision of, and prepare when necessary, banking / shareholders reporting or for funding requests,
- Manage the cooperation with banks as related to Polish projects and reporting under loan agreements
- Oversee and prepare Poland statutory statements, tax returns and other reporting requirements
- Manage the Polish external audits
- Advise on the tax aspects of investments and operations
- Advise on changes to Poland tax requirements and oversee the implementation of any necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance
- In cooperation with Polish Chief Accountant, manage and control regular tax processes
- Support DD or M&A processes, including document and agreement reviews
- Support for Property Management systems implementation
- Lead the group-wide accounting projects (systems and reporting) from the Polish perspective
- Drive a continuous process improvement
The Successful Applicant
- University education with accounting/finance related degree - ACCA/CIMA or CPA qualification will be a strong asset
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years of strong managerial experience
- Experience in real estate an asset
- Solid knowledge of taxes and Polish statutory reporting
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash management knowledge
- Sound knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP standards
- Experience in managing teams, project work, able to make own opinion and coherently communicate and support decisions
- Ability to provide clear leadership and motivate people
- Understands key business drivers and proactively seeks out opportunities and recommends solutions that can be effectively supported
- Fluency in English is mandatory
