Who we're looking for

  • Structured, proactive person with ability to act independently
  • Communication, relationship, negotiation and presentations skills (you’ll be expected to work with people in many countries)
  • Managerial skills
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and/or procurement experience with office commodities (Telecoms, Cars, Printers, Stationary, Property&related services, Cleaning, etc.)
  • Fluent English

  • Creativity, “can do” attitude, execution skills
  • Readiness to travel
  • Experience with IT and/or professional services firm is an advantage

Other prerequisites

Your future role

  • Lead and manage the CE procurement team (currently 2 professionals based in Rzeszow with plan on expansion)
  • Continue building CE procurement function 
  • Support the countries (currently Poland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia) in achieving best value/cost partnerships with vendors focusing mostly on:
    • Manage and execute tenders (from sourcing, negotiating till contracting)
    • Maintain tender and other procurement activities plan
    • Set procurement strategy for individual commodities
    • Suggest rules and processes to optimize internal demand
    • Manage selected vendors and develop relationship with them
    • Oversee implementation of operational changes resulting from changes in vendors
    • Coordinate procurement activities with local offices
  • Support and initiate any process and system improvements, monitor current trends and feedback from local markets and propose changes
  • Ensure compliance with procurement standards
  • Monitor and report savings/benefits
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks
  • Work with country leadership to develop and deliver procurement strategies

About the team

The team is responsible for standardising procurement processes in Deloitte Central Europe. The responsibilities of the team include selection and supervision over the supplier base, price negotiations, contract signing, planning and execution of orders.
