Purpose of Role:

The role holder will play an essential part in contributing to building the bench strength of managers and soft skills development as aligned to ongoing business needs.

Specifically, the role holder will be responsible for facilitating classroom or virtual instructor-led sessions using training modules and ensuring that all learning objectives are achieved. The jobholder will also be responsible for managing the relationship with our vendors and approving invoices as necessary.

Meets other design and delivery team members, and facilitates with Business Content SMEs as required.

This role will report directly into the Learning & Development Manager and have a dotted line into the  Training & Development, AVP

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a variety of programs and workshops ranging from one hour to multi-day  conducted in a classroom or online learning environment within the areas of , leadership and soft skills development training
  • Work with subject matter experts, instructional design teams, training agencies/consultants and training specialists to deliver programs that support business capability for the organization
  • Vendor management: includes contract management, approving invoices as required, answering vendor queries etc.
  • Ensure materials are up to date and relevant to ensure a seamless experience within the team and for the learners (e.g., course outline, presentation materials, handouts, communications, participant guide, leader guide, etc.) and highlight any required changes to the Poland L&D Team Lead.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • To keep abreast of best practice in the learning field and share insights with learning colleagues as appropriate
  • To line manage a small  team and provide them with direction, on-the-job coaching and support as required
  • Support the Poland L&D Team Lead in tracking expenditure against the local learning budget
  • Participate in content design of training material as and when required

     

    The Learning organization has embarked on transformational change that will both impact those responsible for learning activities, as well as employees across the organization. As such, roles and responsibilities will need to be fluid to meet the demand as the org model is being redesigned.

 

To be successful in this role, your experience should include:

  • Degree level qualification in HR or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant Training/Learning & Development qualification
  • Fluent English skills
  • Understanding and applying various adult learning models
  • Ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions from it
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders (locally, regionally and globally)
  • Ability to solve problems and generate creative approaches (as relevant)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to influence
  • Client focused with a desire for service excellence
  • Ability to provide effective management of others  (includes demonstrated capability to coach, mentor and direct others)
  • Strong experience in Learning and Development with a strong track record in facilitation/training delivery up to Middle Management Levels (e.g. Assistant Vice President/Vice President).
  • Delivering and moderating high-quality learning experiences
  • Facilitating programs to optimize learning impact
