In the role of Investment Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring compliance results on client portfolios related to Regulatory and contracts restrictions
  • Utilizing State Street’s Investment Compliance platform
  • Completing the research, analysis and reporting to ensure portfolios are in compliance with their investment restrictions.
  • Reviewing contracts for restrictions and building & coding logical tests & rules in the compliance systems Generating reports as required in a timely manner as well as reviewing all reporting produced by the Associates.
  • Liaising with internal clients and supporting departments for the purpose of obtaining key inputs to service delivery
  • Investigating violations on the automated compliance monitoring system.
  • Comparing and confirming accuracy of fund data as it appears in the system and advising data teams of any discrepancies in a timely fashion.
  • Performing Data Uploads and Data Staging
  • Reviewing investment contracts/guidelines/policies to understand compliance testing needs
  • Maintaining detailed documentation on new client installations including client sign-offs and communications.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation on clients and their contracts/investment guidelines

     

    To be successful in this role, your experience should include:

  • University/College degree in Finance, Economics or related areas of study
  • experience in finance and/or large number of data as an asset
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills
  • Curiosity and persistence
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
  • Ability to take ownership of issues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Fluency in English and in German
