Job Description
- Lead the settlement TOM (Target Operating Model) definition for the Group, propose a consistent and standardized process for similar transactions across all markets,
- Identify manual steps in the current settlement processes and design a lean target process,
- Establish and document reconciliation and control requirements for payments, settlements and subledger, including access and data modification restrictions,
- Document business process and requirements for loan reflection in transaction management systems, settlements, payment allocation, matching and reconciliations and subledger bookings in liaison with impacted stakeholders (Product Development, Customer Care, Debt Collections, Accounting) and IT,
- Translate business requirements into user stories and work closely with IT and impacting function to achieve optimal solution design,
- Proactively manage implementation pipeline of payment solutions to ensure alignment with platform development in the markets and integration of new payment channels into settlement process, closely working with Product, Payments, IT teams and markets,
- Contribute to the end-to-end UAT testing strategy, testpack preparation, act as functional representative in UAT execution, results validation and follow-up of bugs resolution,
- Drive the creation of procedures and operating manuals for teams/markets onboarded to platform during project, share knowledge about platform and processes Perform other tasks related to system analysis and improvements in loan booking processes and toolset;
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Ind.
- Experience with relevant IT systems (settlement, payments, reconciliation, subledger), excellent understanding of front-to-back booking processes and control requirements,
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and practical implications for back-office processes,
- At least 5 years experience in similar operational and project roles (Business Analyst/Project Manager) within the Financial Services Industry (ideally within Banks),
- Experience working in agile projects,
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Knowledge or understanding of API-based systems will be an advantage,
- Fluent English.
