The successful candidate will be involved in reviewing investor Anti Money Laundering documentation in line with the AML policies and liaising with the Investor Services team’s in order to request and obtain the required data from the investors and/or clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review Anti Money Laundering documentation in line with the relevant AML policies and procedures.
- As the subject matter expert, liaise with the IS teams to assist with Anti Money Laundering related queries.
- Escalate any exceptions to Compliance and liaise with them in relation to any Anti Money Laundering queries on behalf of the IS teams.
- Update the investor’s KYS status on the ISS system in an accurate and timely manner
- Generate reporting used to monitor and track investor Anti Money Laundering status
- During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures
Qualifications:
- Around 1 year of relevant experience (including some Anti Money Laundering experience)
- Excellent administrative, organisational and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Possess excellent organisational, planning and co-ordination skills
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
