Finance Analyst

Work location: Kraków

Job description:
The Finance Analyst will perform financial accounting and reporting activities including Group, statutory and tax reporting. This job offers a good opportunity to acquire broad knowledge and experience of financial accounting, venture implementation and liquidation related activities of upstream ventures. This Includes:
- set up and/or maintenance of the general ledger and sub-ledgers in ERP
- preparation of joint venture billings, cash calls and payment instructions
- review and timely submission of returns
- review and timely filing of statutory accounts

-analysis and presentation results to Finance Manager
-take a supervisory, coaching role for the finance processes within FO
-supporting implementation/liquidation new upstream entities

 

Requirements:
- 4 years experience in finance, accounting area experience and knowledge of business and control
- excellent analytical and problem solving  ,presentation and communication skills
- adherence to processes, policies and procedures
- service minded with a pro-active attitude
- ability to work with virtual teams, across cultures and time zones
- ability to achieve results through influencing and motivating others
- ability to work in a rapidly changing and demanding environment
- excellent communication skills as well as interpersonal and relationship building skills
- experience in Upstream will be an asset
