The Exchange Traded Fund is a team based in Boston and Krakow that is developing and enhancing applications related to ETF fund management. The ETF application is a web based product connecting to various backend systems. As a Quality Assurance Engineer in this role you will be working primarily as a functional tester and should be a QA professional with an understanding of how all pieces of a complex distributed system interact and function together. f you are looking to push your career to the next level, introduce yourself by submitting your resume.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop test plans and test cases from requirement specifications and supporting documentation.
• Execute test cases, both manual and automated, for assigned areas.
• Report test results and defects utilizing appropriate departmental software programs
• Enhance QA through technical testing, validation and automation where applicable.
• Produce measurable results in QA efficiency
• Review Requirement specifications, attend review meetings, provide feedback, create test plans from requirements and present test plans for review and sign off.
• Identify issues and be able to run queries, APIs, review logs etc as needed to help debug root cause as needed.
• Ability work flexible hours as needed to accommodate global development schedules.

Qualifications for your role would include:　

• Bachelor's degree from college or university
• Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experienced in QA test methodology, concepts of system, manual, integrated and performance testing
• Web browser applications testing experience (Tomcat, JavaScript)

• Knowledge of XML, automation of scripting tools is a plus

• Background in stock, finance and/or banking industry is a plus
