Purpose Of Role:
Under the supervision of direct manager, the VBA/Xceptor Specialist will be responsible for building and/or amend the tools to reduce risk and create efficiency from control and efficiency perspective. He/She will provide a support to Managers in the department.
Specific Duties
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and controlling changes around the current tools to reduce risk and create efficiency by using VBA/Xceptor knowledge
- Establish and maintain an effective collaboration with managers, supervisors, Donor Sites and other stakeholders
- Create sufficient documentation for various changes and enhancement
- Assist managers in their queries
- Process required actions in tools and applications
- Gather data from UK Fund Accounting teams and managers
- Take responsibility for created documents
- Ensure that the businesses operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and that escalation procedures are followed
- Identify associated risks and take appropriate remedial action where necessary.
- Seek for opportunities to reduce administrative tasks or to perform them in the most efficient way
- Work on improving internal processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned by manager on ad-hoc basis

Specific Qualifications / Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Numeracy / Literacy skills
- PC literate and competent in use of spreadsheets and word processing
- A thorough understanding of fund administration will be additional asset
- Excellent English
- Proficient reconciliation and problem solving
- Outstanding Excel and Power Point skills
