Job description:

Purpose & Accountabilities :
  • Primary purpose of the job is to assist the Vendor Specialist in performing the non-commercial aspects of the Category Management and Contracting Process (CMCP) front-end process particularly:
  • Vendor Set-up and Amend
  • Supplier Qualification (SQ) Registration, MK Denial Checks, Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) Checks, Supplier Financial Risk Assessments (SFRA) and .
  • Has to maintain and play an active role in updating documentation on controls, work instructions, procedures, etc
  • Maintain Reporting files and other similar trackers/logs and lead in resolution of any queries there on
Principal Accountabilities
  • Initiates request for Vendor maintenance via Vendor Set-up and Amend (VS&A) tool and MDM requests required by Contract Specialist and CP Leads.
  • Assist the Vendor Specialist in initiating requests for Supplier Qualification (SQ), Shell Financial Risk Assessment (SFRA) and Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) including MK Denial checks to support the Supplier pre-qualification requirements ensuring first time right data.
  • Responsible to independently interpret and respond to queries related to the requests and process. 
  • Assist the Vendor Specialist in managing the end-to-end process from SQ to Vendor set-up to ensure business requirements are satisfied  within the required timeline.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions while ensuring compliance to Knowledge Management standards to support training, process sharing and issue resolution.
  • Should maintain the records for the work completed like work log, etc. Lead and support senior employees and focal points in analysis and resolution of issues in these logs
  • Lead role in implementing record archival policies and ensure compliance (example TRIM, GLL etc)
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in the process.  Play active role as a member in improvement projects and sometimes lead improvement projects
Dimensions :
  • Responsible for Right First Time request, Accuracy and Quality of the Data
  • Knowledgeable in multiple systems, ERP’s and tools across  multiple countries including close cooperation with CP stakeholders and suppliers

Requirements:

Skills & Requirements :
  • University degree required. Evidence of strong quantitative knowledge and attention to detail.
  • + 4 years experience in Procurement and Requisition to Pay process or relevant business areas preferred
  • Hands on experience in ERP, preferably SAP, as an end-user 
  • Exposure to Master Data is desirable
  • Exposure to Controls environment is desirable
  • Exposure to Process Improvements and Transformation projects.
  • Experience in Stakeholder management in a virtual world is desirable
  • Proven skills in written and spoken EnglishGood knowledge and experience in MS Office applications like MS Excel, MS Access, MS Powerpoint, etc
