Job description:
This role located in FO-Krakow, will be responsible for advising, maintaining and training on the Project Delivery Reporting (PDR) Anaplan tool and associated reporting. It will be in the Process, Data, Systems (PDS) team and form part of the Center of Excellence (CoE). 
Following the decision to decommission Business One (B1), a feasibility study was conducted to assess the choices for a replacement tool. Anaplan was tested in a four-week Proof of Concept, following which it was selected as the replacement for B1.
Anaplan is a Saas, cloud-based tool that is part of a new generation of tools that is not customizable; only configurable. As a result, support for the tool resides with this “Super User” role and not with IT, as B1 currently does. The hardware and required infrastructure for Anaplan is hosted in the cloud and the vendor takes responsibility for maintenance. Periodic upgrades and enhancements are automatically pushed to users.

 

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • Maintain security and access for PDR Anaplan – within defined parameters, would determine accessibility for new users
  • Follow and maintain the Anaplan “design standards and principles”
  • Responding to user queries about the tool
  • Provide training to new users
  • Maintaining the Project Hierarchy within Anaplan
  • First screening of requests to add/change/delete anything in Anaplan before it goes to the Change Management panel (PDR Senior representatives who will review, challenge and ultimately approve/reject requests)
  • Coordination of any updates to data definitions in Anaplan (each data element in Anaplan will have a data owner and description)
  • Set up with full, “super user” access, this position will be able to make modifications to the tool (e.g. Adding new projects, new data fields, deleting data fields, changing online reporting configurations)
  • Key focal for Spotfire reporting tool, troubleshooting, modifications, coordination of new requirements
  • Responsible for opening and closing the PDR system on a quarterly basis
  • Facilitate reconciliations between PDR and other systems (eg P1)
  • Maintain archiving plan for data in Anaplan and data warehouse
  • Maintain online help screens and user guides
  • Manage implementation of new releases from Anaplan

 

Requirements:

  • Requires a special combination of Finance and Business skills/understanding along with an affinity and aptitude for data, systems and reporting
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language would be an asset
  • Ability to understand the technicalities of the Anaplan system and all reporting tools used in PDR
  • Understanding of SQL & Spotfire
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills as well as stakeholder management skills in a virtual reporting environment
  • The ability to see the wider context and so identifying opportunities for simplification and improvement as well as alignment between the different processes
  • The sensitivity of working with most confidential, market sensitive data
