Job Description
- Review current Business Intelligence processes in the organization, define priorities and prepare a road map for their implementation
- Manage, drive and support implementation and standardization of new Business Intelligence approach and processes within the company
- Establish BI best practices
- Responsible for delivering high quality data & analytical insights and recommendations for the Management Board
- Data bases management
- Responsible for leading analytical insights support for the Business
- Sales results monitoring, market research, competitors analysis, current and future clients reviews, support new sales and marketing campaigns
- Lead alignment of business information with financial results, strategic long-term planning with a guidance on further business development within various market segments
- Assure business performance through comprehensive trend analysis and explanation
- Agree form and structure of required business insight with key Client's stakeholders
- Assure data quality and promote effective business rules to preserve and protect data
- Develop business skills and services both within the BI team and across the business
- Create tools supporting enhanced BI self-service
- Ensure that responsible analytical results are communicated and used effectively
- Establish work habits to support the function's evolving process and execution needs
- Lead and develop a Business Intelligence team
The Successful Applicant
- 4-5 years' experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics in a corporate environment preferably within IT / new technology companies
- Established team management experience
- Able to work in a mix of different BI approaches
- Good experience of SQL
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, proficient in data analysis from a commercial and strategic delivery perspective (experience in financial controlling will be an asset)
- Transform data into information into insight into action
- Business facing ability to adopt both technical and non-technical language where necessary
- Flexible approach and openness for making changes in the set plan if situation requires
- Ability to work flexibly within a team fulfilling an end-to-end range of BI delivery tasks
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to organize and create a new order in an unsettled environment
- Good organization, reporting, presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong team-working ethos, self-starter
- Ability to multi-task & prioritize whilst maintaining the right level of focus on each project
