Job Description
- Planning month-end closing activities
- Organizing and setting timetables for the monthly close activities
- Preparing monthly close and reporting instructions
- Reviewing and validating monthly financial closing reporting
- Monitoring inter-company reconciliation process and driving and solving inter- company differences
- Reviewing and validating reports submitted by local units to ensure quality of reporting
- Ensuring monthly financial process for assigned Global/European business units, including management of all relevant central consolidation and elimination adjustments
- Leading harmonization and standardization of the reporting and consolidation processes within the BU/region
- Being focal point for local units, internal and external auditors for the financial consolidation processes
- Provide functional direction, training and support to local reporting units
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education in Finance and Accounting or similar
- More than 5 years of experience working in accounting and reporting
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and good knowledge of consolidation systems
- Fluent English
- Very good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Strong attention to details
