Job Description
- identify changes in Polish taxation and coordinate their implementation
- assure Polish entities tax documentation is up to date and ready for tax office controls
- proactively and constantly secure tax position by cooperation with tax advisor, implementation of tax rulings, cooperation with Group Tax team on complex matters
- train and develop the team (Retain and SSC)
- find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures
- VAT monthly reporting, reconciliation of VAT accounts, standard audit file JPK
- review of VAT data in SAP, validation, requesting corrections
- reconciliation of VAT EU differences following tax office requests
- supervision over VAT simplified procedure for importation transactions
- support for Customer Service in the area of tax for complex sales transactions
- review of Sales invoices for tax compliance
- collection of export confirmations and EU deliveries
The Successful Applicant
- economic university degree in the area of accounting, taxes, or post graduate studies in that area
- several years of experience in tax reporting in international company, or part in tax advisory
- deep knowledge of VAT, import, export, CIT, WHT, transfer pricing
- practical knowledge of property tax, customs duty, excise tax, stamp duty
- proven track of implementing various tax changes in accounting and reporting processes
- experience as chief accountant or professional Polish tax qualifications (Doradca Podatkowy, Biegły Rewident)
- fluent in English, speaking and writing
- experience in with ERP systems, Advanced Excel
- strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
