Job Description
Review balance sheet reconciliations and interoffice activities within the team's remit and assist with the exception reporting and perform quality checks on work performed by the offshore teams; Review, approve, and prepare requests for ad-hoc analysis of various types of financial information utilizing operational and financial analytics as appropriate for the situation; Daily general accounting activities and month-end close process; Supporting local audits; Execute monthly and quarterly preparation of balance sheet accounts reconciliations; Monthly Cash management and Inventory reconciliations; Participating in lean management projects and standardization initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 2 years of experience in General Ledger area;
- Solid knowledge of accountancy regulations;
- Finance or Economic educational background is preferable
- Very good English language command;
- French language will be an asset
- Experience in SSC/BPO structures will be a plus;
- Great communication skills, hands-on attitude;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
