Technicolor is a multinational company having offices worldwide and employs nearly 17,000 people. In Technicolor FSSC Warsaw, we provide financial and accounting services for Group companies based in Europe.
Currently we are looking for candidates for the position:

Financial Controller


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local Financial Director and Controllers on financial performance of operations, budget preparation, forecasting, strategic plan preparation and other processes throughout the year
  • Provide regular financial reports, together with the variance analysis of actual performance vs. budget and forecasts
  • Provide financial analyses on cost and revenue, understand variances to the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Active participation of month close process, including accruals calculations, verification of revenues, costs as well as balance sheet items
  • Support annual budget and monthly forecasts of P&L, BS as well as CF statement
  • Work closely with the business partners and accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
  • Supervision of General Ledger process, control of accounting entries
  • Supervision of accounting / financial system with respect to data completeness and quality
  • Overseeing the Payroll process
  • Support in cash management
  • Liaison with external and internal auditors, prepare all supporting information for the annual audit
  • Implementation of local and corporate accounting / financial procedures


  • University degree with Controlling, Finance, Accounting.  Additional professional financial qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) would be an advantage
  • minimum of 5 years prior experience in the area of Controlling/Finance/Accounting with increasing level of  responsibility
  • Fluent in English is mandatory
  • professional experience within General Ledger (month end closing, accounts reconciliation, fix assets, reporting)
  • professional experience in SSC/BPO would be an advantage
  • practical knowledge of MSR/MSSF and processes of internal controlling
  • strong analytical and problem solving skills with advanced Excel ability, Magnitude, SAP
  • commercial acumen, understanding and anticipating the needs of both operations and management
  • commercial awareness, the interface or ‘translator’ between finance and operations
  • strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management, building relationship and presentation skills
  • challenge status quo and act as agent of change
  • make decisions, be comfortable with risk and working with ambiguity
  • learn from the past but be future orientated 
  • interpret data, order and assess its value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way
