Implementation Project Manager


Job Description:

Technicolor Shared Service Center (SSC) in Warsaw implements month close process optimization software (modules: Close, Accounts Certification and Journal Entries) to improve the Record to Report process for the Technicolor Group entities serviced by SSC (c.a. 30 entities).

As an Implementation Manager, you will lead the project from Technicolor SSC side including the business needs analysis, project planning, training, and configuration/customization phases of the implementation. You will be required to work as part of the implementation team (i.e. with the consultants of software provider and Technicolor GL accountants) and alone, to deliver successful project. Key objectives are to implement and configure the software in accordance with the project scope, timeframe, manage project issues and users’ expectations, deliver on-time solutions, and achieve high satisfaction of the project stakeholders.

Reports to: The Managing Director of Shared Service Center

Contract type: 1,5 year (implementation period)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the month close process optimization software from Technicolor side. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks and resource requirements. Manages user expectations and works collaboratively across the enterprise
  • Lead project team members to accomplish project objectives
  • Maintain project schedules and project budget. Track and control progress to achieve completion of projects within time and budget projections
  • Ensure decisions and outcomes are documented appropriately
  • Communicate project status including risks to all project stakeholders. Serves as the primary contact with user groups and IT systems management
  • Assemble and coordinates resources, schedules, task assignments, project plans. Monitor resource utilization and forecasts resource needs
  • Drive resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs
  • Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent. Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments


  • At least 5 years of related professional experience
  • Prior experience in close process optimization software project management/implementation
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial operations and applications
  • Ability to interact with members of accounting and finance teams
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Very strong management, project management and leadership skills
  • Very strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of project methodologies and techniques
  • Strong ethic work
