Currently we are looking for a person for the position of:

Senior Communications Project Leader - Product Catalogue
Senior Communications Project Leader - Product Catalogue

Key activities
  • Cooperates closely with Senior Brand Managers of all European Product lines to collect and understand the changes in product assortment and pricing with regards to their publication in the Product Catalogue
  • Understands key requirements of the Product Catalogue as a comms tool and its creation process
  • Understands the specifics of the individual markets regarding the different product price specifics and the procedure of implementing the prices into the mass publication Product Catalogue in cooperation with the agency
  • Ensures contemporary design standards
  • Consults on relevant projects to ensure alignment to other publications strategy (print & digital) and best optional content production and publication
  • Works jointly with Pricing, Digital (AO), Mobile Content, Production Teams to improve and optimize Product Catalogue
  • Works jointly with the Production Manager to ensure timely and efficient production and distribution of Product Catalogue to clients
  • Owns Product Catalogue distribution strategy and overall cost of the product (creative, translation, print, distribution); seeks and adjusts the strategy where applicable
  • Project management as per project plan 
  • Provides support and input to other communication projects
  • Advises on print specifications and attends press passes, coordinates with ABG SKUs, printing and shipping activities
  • Coordinates print and online content tasks for the launch of Product Catalogue project:
  • Coordinates translation and localization process
  • Cooperates with external content providers, agencies, graphics 
Profile we look for

Relevant degree and professional qualification in Marketing Communications with 5 years’ experience.

        Work experience

  • Currently performing a communication function
  • Understanding of Product Catalogue design, layout and content
  • Outstanding and proven project management experience (briefing, executing, controlling, schedules)
  • Print press passing experience and print management processes
  • Ability to manage agency relationship, budgets and timetables

 

        Specialized knowledge

  • Knowledge in production of mass communication materials ideally across multiple countries / languages
  • Knowledge of communication material production processes – creation, translation and localisation, print and distribution
  • Escalation and risk management process implementation
  • Managing budgets within agreed parameters
  • IT Literate - Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Acrobat (PDF Proofing)
  • Understanding of InDesign
  • Digital environment literate
