Job Description
  • Work closely with the Service and Operations Lead and collaborate with global Content Management community in defining and developing Content Management policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Serve as the system administrator for the HR portal and knowledge base in providing service excellence while creating and maintaining a seamless experience
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of guidelines, program procedures and systems
  • Manage content and set design standards for the portal in order to communicate effectively with customers
  • Acquire up-to-date information regarding industry best practices and latest technology to improve internal practices, reduce operational cost and increase operational efficiency
  • Define and create process-specific content for the portal (strategy, policy, procedures, news, etc.) and ensure content is consistently up-to-date and relevant
  • Develop database maintenance procedures including generation, initial load, change control and archiving in order to ensure data integrity
  • Responsible for the delivery of HR Portal maintenance, including development of functional/technical specifications, troubleshooting issues and implementing initiatives
  • Establish and proactively manage HR Portal content structures and oversee content creation through the use of templates and guidelines in enhancing service delivery of the organization in alignment with global content management guidelines
  • Build strong working relationships with Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, groups and other content owners to clearly identify content needs/requirements in driving efficiency and while focusing on associate self-sufficiency
  • Lead testing including reviewing specifications, creating test scenarios, overseeing performance testing and coordinating with vendors and others on remediation of issues
  • Support continuous improvement and content service delivery excellence throughout the content management lifecycle by identifying and adopting best practices, maintaining a proactive sense of the business' needs and analysis of customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with the Information Architect (IA) team on technology solution design to align with IA framework and related enterprise information domains such as master data management (MDM), metadata management, and other related information organization areas in deploying a stable and high value HR Portal
  • Translate country specific content into supported languages by working closely with content owner in translating and converting documentation and content from one language to another while ensuring the original meaning is retained and consistent with the language used in the HR portal
  • Advocate for and participate in continuous improvement efforts to assist in defining additional HR Portal content requirements
The Successful Applicant
  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in HR, Computer Science
  • 2-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with HR processes and practices
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task and respond within appropriate timeframe
  • Capable of establishing priorities
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to be a self-starter, and take initiative/ownership; adaptive and flexible to new ideas and change
  • IT savvy with a keen interest in leveraging IT functionality to drive standardization / add business value
  • Flexibility to deal with changing business requirement
  • Proven project management experience required
  • Excellent communication including the ability to write and communicate convey complex information in a simple, concise and easily understandable manner
