Job description:

-Ensure that payment activities are performed in an effective, efficient and timely manner while maintaining compliance with applicable SOX/ business controls/GPP
-Perform the activities within set global and local performance metric targets
-Act with accuracy and following WI in performing payment activities
-Manage good working relationship with stakeholders from various operating units 
-Ensure that all relevant Shell/SBO/ HSSE standards and guidelines are met
-Execute payment batches and ensure that files are successfully transferred to payment tools and bank portals within agreed timeframes
-Ensure that required reports are prepare and shared with respective stakeholders within agreed timeframe
-Ensure that each payment rejection is captured and investigated within agreed timeframe
-Coordinate with banks and handle queries from stakeholders
Learn and know how to perform daily activities for at least 2 additional assigned scopes (as 1st and/or 2nd backup)
-Learn and know how to perform critical activities of assigned IO/BCP partners
-Authorize payments in payment tools and bank portals
-Managing and repplying on timely manner from generic assigned mailboxes
-Ensure that Work Instructions and Cheat Sheets are updated whenever there is a change to the process on respective scope; backups and IO partners must be informed about the change
-Connect with other team members of the Global Payments Team during the monthly network analyst call
-Support AP Payments team in front of stakeholders, client, teams, business by active participation in calls, TownHalls, f2f meetings

 

Requirements:
• Min 1 year of experience in relevant accounting environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration preferred
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Ms Outlook Broad accounting knowledge
• Good command of English with good interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of accounting controls
• Desired knowledge of SAP system and bank portals
