Responsibilities:

• Correctly interpret and allocate incoming payments to open documents on customer account in the correct book month.
• Posting of payments according to company accounting rules as defined.
• Know the time table of posting incoming payments.
• Being able to reconcile all concerned postings and trace back the origin source.
• Being able to find back and correct errors in posting with respect to cash management data.
• Try to obtain as soon as possible all details relating to payments.
• Being able to provide the requested explanations by the CAA.
• Communicate with CAA in case of specific problems.
• Understand the basic principles of WCR, DSO outstanding due and not due.
• Understand the impact of the means of payment on his / her working instructions.
• Understand the impact of the means of Credit management on his/her working instructions.
• Know of existence payment related costs / profits – bank costs; currency differences.
• Correct application of posting different types  of payment related costs / profits according to procedures.
• Know the process and procedures in which is involved as an actor in detail.
• Manage mailbox and auto archiving – Can sort/filter/ move messages and create folders.
• EC can make suggestions on ways of posting linked to new processes related to encashment.
