Team Manager - Intra Group Settlements & Reconciliation
Work location: Kraków

Job description:

The position entails providing direct supervision to the team (up to 8 FTEs), driving operational excellence, organizing and coordinating workload and acting as a point of contact for any escalated issues as needed. The Team Manager is responsible for reporting and analyzing team performance and address operational issues to ensure that all metrics and processes are achieved. The role is also responsible in managing various personnel functions including but not limited to team resourcing, training, performance appraisals and manage underperformance if there is any. Team Manager is also responsible for driving process improvements agenda and ensuring effective control framework. Participation in major change programs such as implementation and process standardization is also required

 

Process accountabilities:

  • Deliver against agreed service standards including regular reviews with all customers/stakeholders.

  • Ensure that Intra Group balances are fairly stated/accounted and reconciled on a timely basis in accordance with the agreed closing timetables.

  • Review and challenge existing processes to ensure maximum benefit from organization structure and work allocation.

  • Pro-actively seek new and deliver existing efficiency improvements, utilize Continuous Improvement mindset and available tools.

  • Support introduction of new business scenarios and work hand in hand with Process Owner organization.

  • Management of workload is extremely important due to workload peaks throughout the year and quarter closings.

  • Ensure Intra Group settlements are processed accurately, on time and in accordance with agreed procedures and service standards.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Finance/Economics or related field
  • Min 5 years of work experience in Finance/Accounting area (preferable AP, AR or related)

  • Min 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & SAP platforms

  • Working in a customer-focused environment, including effective use of service standards would be beneficial

  • Excellent change management skills, ability to lead teams in changing and dynamic environment

  • Continuous improvement and commercial mindset, ability to define and deliver cost reductions

  • Working with multiple Stakeholders and different functions (GL, Reporting & Analysis teams, etc)

  • Ability to work under time pressure and delivery results within short deadlines
