Your key responsibilities:

GSK Finance Hub in Poznan is a new Finance team and one of 3 regional GSK Finance Hubs which will be the part of the GSK Finance Operating Model. It will oversee all Close and Control activities for European markets as well as to deliver more complex accounting activities such as Production Accounting. The Close & Control teams in the three regional Finance Hubs will collaborate, share best practice and knowledge and report to one Global leader based in London. 

We are planning to employ about 80 highly-skilled professionals. By 2020 we will employ approximately 300 high performing finance talents. We report to our headquarters based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Reporting Specialist you will oversee End to End accounting processes delivered by BPO to ensure that key R2R processes (General Ledger, Period End Close, Balance Sheet Reconciliation) are carried out in a solid and efficient manner;
• You will ensure timely delivery of GSK IFRS reporting and perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation controls for a given set of markets;
• The partnership with Local Finance Stakeholders will be your key area of focus; To inform financial decisions you will provide financial results and balance sheet overviews and perform relevant complex analyses;
• You will cooperate with the BPO partner on a daily basis and build the relationship that will bring efficiency to R2R processes; That would also include designing and monitoring KPIs and SLAs and proposing further service improvements;
• You will contribute to finance control environment and ensure that controls for your area are compliant with internal procedures and SOX requirement and you respond to internal and external audit queries;
• The project will give you a possibility to take part in migration process from London to Poznan!
