For our client, a leading European publisher located in Warsaw, we are looking for a person for the position of  


RtR Accountant
RtR Accountant

Responsibilities:
  • participate in royalty contract review and analysis from a financial and business operations perspective as well as day to day contract management,
  • participate in the financial statement close process, including but not limited to preparation of month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and royalty analytics,
  • create, maintain and improve accounting processes with a high attention to detail,
  • manage the tracking of contractual advances and recoupments, and ensure they are paid in accordance with existing contracts,
  • assist in the preparation of schedules for annual audits,
  • support licensor audits,
  • assist with quarterly controls testing for royalties accounting and other ad hoc royalties projects,
  • assist with preparation of quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts,
  • reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts in Blackline,
  • performing the intercompany accounting and reconciling accounts on a regular basis,
  • reconciling and resolving intercompany transaction variances with counterparties,
  • improving the intercompany process,
  • developing intercompany documented procedures, training material and internal policies,
  • adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business grows and changes.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant finance/accounting work experience at a public company,
  • expert Excel skills required,
  • excellent analytical and organization skills,
  • strong written and verbal English skills,
  • strong interpersonal skills, ability to drive simplicity within a matrix environment,
  • a team player who is able to work collaboratively within the group as well as across business,
  • excellent problem-solving skills,
  • bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting,
  • ERP systems experience, Navision a plus.
